I graduated from UNB Fredericton in 1995 with a business degree. After paying my way through college painting houses I decided to buy a franchise from CertaPro Painters (I was the 15th to buy one, now there are over 300 franchises). Over the past 15 years I have focused on living up to the ideals of CertaPro Painters - the belief that we can take an event (house painting) that is considered to be a hassle and frustrating experience into an experience where our customers are delighted. To this end, I have focused on finding the absolute best PEOPLE that are interested in delighting their customers - not just applying paint to surfaces. With a talented team, we've been able to grow to $1-million in revenue without sacrificing the customer experience.
In fact, we are in the top 5% of CertaPro franchisees in North America when it comes to our customer satisfaction ratings (99% of our customers surveyed were happy with our work and would refer us to their friends and family). Our focus on the customer experience has allowed us to grow mostly through repeat business and referrals (over 2/3 of our work comes from these to sources).
